About the event
The aims of the conference “From Research to Practice” are to present and discuss actionable insights and results from research activities.
This year's conference will first provide an insight into the wide-ranging research of the three institutes IBBM (Institute for Building Materials and Bio-based Materials), IDBH (Institute for Digital Construction and Timber Industry) and IHB (Institute for Timber Construction) of the Bern University of Applied Sciences, Department of Architecture, Timber and Construction at the Biel site.
The second part presents current findings for the design and development of timber construction. The focus is on the field of earthquake engineering.
