About the event
The aims of the conference are to present and discuss actionable findings and results from research activities.
The conference focuses on structural timber engineering and the preservation of Swiss timber building traditions. Engineers will be presented with new insights into the design of timber frame walls, the shear behavior of ash glulam, the consideration of climatic influences, and performance-based calculations for fire resistance. The second part of the conference will present solutions and approaches for building within existing structures, particularly for Swiss log buildings, in the areas of building physics, fire protection, and earthquake resistance.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to all the speakers who contributed to the event.
